If during the Period of Insurance the insured shall sustain bodily injury solely and independently of any other cause by accidental, violent, external and visible means resulting in death or disablement, the Company will pay compensation or in the case of death to his legal representatives, compensation as provided by items 1-3 below.
SCOPE OF COVER
1. CONTINUOUS FAMILY WELLBEING
a) LUMP SUM PAYMENT
The policy provides a lump sum payment to ensure that your loved ones are protected from financial burdens that can arise if and when death comes.
b) BURIAL EXPENSES
An extra payment is made to the family members to support them for the burial expenses.
c) TRANSPORTATION COST
Family members are also entitled to a fixed amount to settle part of the transportation cost to be incurred during the burial.
2. OUT-OF-WORK BENEFITS DUE TO ACCIDENT
The policy also pays a lump sum in the event of Permanent Disability whereby the insured is incapacitated such that certain part(s) of the insured body is/are totally or partially ineffective and cannot allow the insured to attend to his or her normal work.
3. MEDICAL EXPENSES
The policy shall pay for your incurred expenses in respect of Medical, Surgical and Transportation where you suffered bodily injury as a result of an accident covered under the policy.
