Funmi Idodo is a chartered underwriter with over 21 years of experience in both claims administration and underwriting. Her career began as a marketing executive in Lion of Africa Insurance Company Limited in 2002, immediately after her mandatory NYSC programme before joining Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in November of the same year where she grew through the ranks to her current position as Head, General Underwriting Department/Branch Operations.
She holds a Higher National Diploma in Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic with an Upper Credit. Her quest for knowledge also saw her through the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Lagos where she bagged a BSc degree in Business Administration with a Second-Class Upper Division. She equally holds an MBA in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU).
She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (AIIN). Funmi is an excellent team player with a positive attitude to work. She has attended a series of technical, management and leadership training both at home and abroad.
